MY STORY
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, with a Hungarian mother and a Colombian father. My parents emigrated to the United States (NY) when I was just a toddler, where I lived until my early 30's.
Inspired by my maternal grandfather who was a famous cinematographer from Budapest, I followed his dreams and studied photography in Houston. After a few years of studying the technical aspects of my trade, I decided to pursue my passion of capturing the beauty of the World we live in, to share with all of you.
My next stop brought me to the Desert Southwest-specifically Arizona. I was drawn to the SW by its beautiful rugged diversity and lighting challenges. I would remain there for the next 25 years! While in the SW, I started participating in art festivals. My travels then expanded to other areas in the Southwest, as well as to Mexico and Central America. Mexico, in particular, was one of my favorite destinations due to the colorful little colonial towns, like San Miguel de Allende.
At the ripe old age of 40 (lol), I finally had the opportunity to venture abroad to the shores of the UK (Ireland) and on to Mainland Europe, where I discovered a whole "new" (old) colorful world of doors, windows, alleyways, hilltop towns, sea-scapes, mountain-scapes, etc.
You will see from the website that Italy holds a special hold on me! I just can't get enough of Europe. It keeps calling me back to continue exploring. Hopefully I will get back there and further my portfolio by adding a few more countries I have yet to explore (specifically Norway, Belgium, England, Scotland, as well as return visits to the countries I have only scratched the surface of!).
I currently reside in Southern California and am loving it, although you never know where I will go from here! Stay tuned on that...
Like most of us, I have a long bucket list of where I would like to go, that's for sure! My journeys will continue to evolve as I discover new and beautiful places that inspire me. You are more than welcome to send me suggestions of your favorite places, and why.
Wishing you all happy and safe travels!
